Essential Functions

  • Ability to communicate with staff and campers in safety regulations and emergency procedures
  • Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to activitie
  • Ability to communicate and work with various campers’ age and skill levels and provide necessary instruction
  • Ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce safety regulations and emergency procedures, apply behavior management techniques
  • Physical ability to respond to situations requiring first aid
  • Cognitive and communication ability to plan and conduct the activities to achieve camper development objectives
