No Girl Scout experience necessary. Salary is determined on experience and skills. Food, lodging, insurance and pre-camp training is provided.

Pre-camp training helps staff learn and review camping skills, become familiar with the area, and develop a working rapport with fellow staff. All staff members should have a sincere interest and dedication to helping girls enjoy simple outdoor living, the ability to work with people of all backgrounds, and love for the outdoors.

Camp Positions

Program Director (21+) $250-400 per week (KPC/CP/CGC)
Camp Pisgah and Ginger Cascades: Responsibilities include supervising program areas and plan, set-up and facilitate camp-wide events, while working with the Special Program Director

Keyauwee Program Center: Responsibilities include organizing and running day camp, supervising administrative staff and overseeing day-to-day operations. Experience working in the administrative aspects of camp.  Assumes responsibility in absence of Director.

 

Business Director (21+) $250-400 per week (CP/CGC)
Responsibilities managing the camp store, the online registration system, the online paperwork system and concil required camp reports. Main driver (must have a valid U.S. license) for camper off-site activities and responsible for other administrative duties

 

Unit Director (21+) $235-400 per week (CP)

Responsibilities include supervising all unit staff, coordinating supplies and resources for unit programs

 

Special Program Director (21+) $235-400 per week (CP)
Responsibilities include work directly will all specialized programs at camp that require more advanced set-up and planning and supervise part of the program staff. Assist the Program Director will all-camp activities.

 

Special Activities Director (21+) $235-400 per week (KPC)
Primary responsibilities include coordinating, planning and facilitating camp-wide events, special programs and supervising nature specialist, arts and crafts specialist and photojournalist

 

Activity Director (21+) $235-400 per week (KPC)
Experience leading and running high adventure activities along with holding an ARC Lifeguard Certification and ARC waterfront and pool modules. Lead waterfront and adventure staff along with plan schedules and oversee maintenance of program areas.

 

Waterfront Director (21+) $200-300 per week (CP/CGC)
Current Water Safety Instructor or ARC Lifeguard Certification or equivalent, and ARC waterfront and pool modules. Develop and lead daily swimming lessons along with supervise all pool and waterfront activities and staff.

 

Food Service Manager (21+) $250-400 (CP/CGC/KPC)
Ability to organize, plan menus, order food, prepare food and supervise staff for an institutional kitchen. Direct food service operation for daily meals for 150-250 people. Supervise other kitchen staff, control food supply and maintain health code standards.

 

Assistant Cook (18+) $225-350 per week (CP/CGC/KPC)
Ability to assist with preparing and cleaning up for large groups (150-250 campers and staff) meal service. Some cleaning and food prep responsibilities.

 

Kitchen Aide (16+) $100-250 per week (CP/CGC/KPC)
Main responsibilities include dishwashing, general clean-up, sweeping, mopping, bathroom clean-up, trash removal and food prep.

 

Health Supervisor (21+) $250-400 per week (CP/CGC/KPC)
Responsible for the health and safety of campers and staff, along with maintaining operations in the infirmary. Prefer registered nurse, EMT or LPN and have Wilderness First Aid and CPR.

 

Health Assistant (18+) $180-250 per week (CP)
Responsible for helping the Health Supervisor with all health and safety needs and maintain operation of infirmary. Prefer nursing student, EMT or CNA, and holds a Wilderness First Aid and CPR training

 

Riding Director (21+) $200-300 per week (CP)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers and horses, and supervising barn staff along with facilitating ground and mounted riding lessons

 

Wrangler/Riding Instructor (18+) $190-250 per week (CP/KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers and horses along with facilitating ground and mounted riding lessons

 

CIT Director (21+) $200-275 per week (CP/CGC/KPC)
Responsible for training CITs to become staff, supervising unit staff, guiding and leading the staff in the care of the campers, facilitating activities and completing the necessary weekly paperwork

 

Unit Leader (19+) $200-275 per week (CP/KPC)
Responsible for supervising unit staff, guiding and leading the staff in the care of the campers, facilitating activities and completing the necessary weekly paperwork

 

Unit Counselor (18+) $180-250 per week (CP/CGC/KPC)
Teach and guide campers in program areas and decision-making. Be a positive role model for young girls and put their needs first

 

Unit Counselor/Lifeguard (18+) $180-250 per week (CP/CGC)

Unit Wrangler (19+) $190-250 per week (KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers along with facilitating daily activities and facilitating your units' riding session

 

Adventure Specialist (19+) $190-250 per week (KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers along with facilitating high adventure activities suchas the climbing wall

 

Arts and Crafts Specialist (19+) $180-250 per week (CP/KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers along with facilitating arts and crafts and creating unique crafting ideas

 

Waterfront Specialist (16+) $180-250 per week (CP/KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers along with facilitating all activities in the pool or lake. Must be a lifeguard.

 

Nature Specialist (19+) $180-250 per week (CP/KPC)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers along with facilitating educational and entertaining activities centered on nature

 

Sports and Games Specialist (18+) $180-250 per week (CP)
Ability to develop, organize and conduct create outdoor activities such as mountain biking, low ropes courses, large field games, archery, climbing and small group games

 

Photo Journalist (19+) $180-250 per week (CP/KPC)
Primary duties inclue documenting campers' activities through photos and updating the eCamps website daily to keep parents informed about camp fun, along with helping with the supervision and care of campers when needed.

 

Floater (18+) $180-250 per week (CP)
Responsible for helping with the supervision and care of campers and horses and be willing to help where needed
